Illuminandi - dążący do światłości

Today we entered Chinook studio in our hometown Dębica to record rhythm guitar guides for our new album. Tomorrow Krzysztof will add some violin parts here and there to guide our drummer through the songs. Papirus will start laying down his drum tracks next Monday. The new album will consist of 9 songs + intro + perhaps an instrumental interlude. We do have a working title for the CD, but since it’s only a working title, we’d rather not make it public at this point. We’re going to post more or less regular updates on our progress, so come back soon for more news. Remember us in your prayers! Take care.

It’s been a while since you last heard from us and some of you have been wandering what’s going on in the band… Well, we’re still alive and kicking!
We’re entering a recording studio on 14th September in order to record our first “proper” full-length. Right now we are rehearsing on a pretty intensive basis and also preparing for the gigs in the Czech Republic.
The new album will consist of 9 songs and perhaps some intro and/or instrumental interludes. The album will probably be finished in November/December, but the release date is yet unknown. We’re discussing our potential release with a few labels, but nothing has been signed so far. We’re still open to offers, so labels, get in touch quickly!
Also, about our line-up: it’s been stable since Tomasz (our new drummer) joined us a couple of months ago. It is true that on our Polish website we published news about our cellist leaving the band, but as it turned out, this was premature; Antonina changed her mind and is still a part of the band.

If you won’t be able to see us live in Czech Rep. at FRYYFEST you have second chance – a day earlier On 14th August we will laso play at FESTIVAL DOKOŘÁN in Karvina near Polish border.

During second day of Christmas we are revealing our next plans for 2009 – in Uster in Switzerland from May 21 to May 23 there will be 6th edition of Elements of Rock. It’s time to bring back our golden memories from 2007 On EoR website along Illuminandi you can find on the list of first schueduled bands also Theocracy (USA), Seventh Angel (UK), Crimson Moonlight (SWE), Vindex (SLO) plus local names Dividing Line and Disobedience.
